Revelation Series (Part 3)
We're reminded today of the power of God's Word, especially in the Book of Revelation. The message emphasizes that blessings come from reading, hearing, and keeping God's Word. This isn't just passive listening, but active engagement and obedience. The scripture tells us 'Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein.' This challenges us to not only consume scripture, but to live it out in our daily lives. There's a beautiful parallel drawn between our thirst for righteousness and the invitation in Revelation to 'let him that is athirst come.' This speaks to our deep spiritual longing and God's abundant provision. As we reflect on this, we're encouraged to examine our own spiritual thirst and how we're responding to God's invitation. Are we actively seeking to quench our thirst with the living water only He can provide?
