Sabbath Sermon Experience 8-22-2026
What if heaven is not just a vague spiritual concept but a real, tangible, and almost incomprehensibly magnificent place? Revelation 21 pulls back the curtain on the New Jerusalem, and what we find there is staggering. We are talking about a perfect cube stretching approximately 1,500 miles in every direction, built from jasper walls, pure transparent gold streets, and foundations laid with twelve kinds of precious stones. No engineer on earth could draft the blueprints, let alone construct it. But beyond the breathtaking architecture lies an even deeper truth: this city is not built for a select few. It is built for every man, woman, boy, and girl who accepts Jesus Christ as Savior. The diversity of precious stones in its foundation is a picture of the diversity of God's redeemed people, each one purified and made whole. The gates never close because there are no threats, no violence, no one to hold us back. And at the center of it all, the Lamb himself becomes the light. The Son outshines the sun. This is the eternal home God has been preparing for us, and the question it leaves ringing in our hearts is simply this: are we preparing ourselves for it?
