Sports Evangelism is the newest ministry to be added to Seacrest SDA. Ministry through sports is a fun and interactive way for people to worship. We believe that the gospel of Christ can be reached in every aspect of life; including sports. Sports Evangelism has long been an innovative way of attracting new members, whilst renewing the bond of the old members of the church.

Our team meets every Wednesday evenings at 6:30pm at the John Prince Park in Lake Worth, Florida.

If you are interested in joining our Sports team, please fill out the contact form and a member of our team will get in touch with you. Thank you.

VolleyBall

Seacrest's volleyball team has been doing an amazing job in the division of sports evangelism. The team is progressively growing and has begun competing on the local level with our sister churches.  Our team has been practicing each week on Wednesday evenings at the John Prince Park starting at 6:30pm.

Cricket

Cricket is a bat-and-ball game played between two teams of eleven players on a field at the centre of which is a 20-metre (22-yard) pitch with a wicket at each end, each comprising two bails balanced on three stumps. The batting side scores runs by striking the ball bowled at the wicket with the bat, while the bowling and fielding side tries to prevent this and dismiss each player (so they are "out").

Soccer

Association football, more commonly known as football or soccer, is a team sport played with a spherical ball between two teams of eleven players. It is played by 250 million players in over 200 countries and dependencies, making it the world's most popular sport. The game is played on a rectangular field called a pitch with a goal at each end. The object of the game is to score by moving the ball beyond the goal line into the opposing goal.

Softball

Softball is a game similar to baseball played with a larger ball (11 to 12 in. circumference) on a field that has base lengths of 60 feet, a pitcher's mound that ranges from 35–43 feet away from home plate, and a homerun fence that is 220 feet away from home plate.
